Transparency
tokelauan.com is a small, independent, non-commercial cultural project. We aim to act responsibly and transparently, especially when receiving donations.
How donations are used
Donations may be used to support:
- Website hosting, infrastructure, and technical maintenance
- Research, documentation, and curation of linguistic resources
- Outreach to academic, educational, and cultural institutions
- Long-term archiving and accessibility of language-related materials
Principles
- Non-commercial: No advertising, paywalls, or commercial services are offered.
- Respect: We aim to represent Tokelauan language and culture with care and respect.
- No personal enrichment: Donations are not used for personal enrichment.
- Privacy-first: We never publish wallet addresses or transaction details.
Monthly updates
When there are meaningful changes (resources added, collaborations, funded preservation tasks), we’ll post a short update here. If there are no updates in a given month, that usually means the project is stable and quiet.
2025-12 Project launched, website and donation infrastructure published.
Next Resource list + first outreach to academic / cultural institutions.
Donor thanks
If you would like a public thank-you (first name, nickname, or “anonymous”), email us at contact@tokelauan.com. We never publish wallet addresses.
